Don’t do business with them. Gave me a quote and tried to charge me higher than the quote. After refusing insurance and canceling, I got a letter in the mail a year later saying I owed money to a debt collection agency. Turns out they never cancelled my policy and then decided after zero contact to report it to debt collectors. Tried to contact to work it out and the woman hung up on me and a man transferred me to the machine. They don’t answer their phones 90% of the time and when they do they’re extremely rude. The woman actually laughed at me and interrupted me the whole time before hanging up on me. This women and everyone I spoke with should be fired.

Christina was phenomenal! I had originally signed up for one company through the governors and I’ve had it for seven years. There was a glitch in the system and we were waiting for a callback for a reinstatement and did not get one for four weeks. In the meantime Christina set me up with another company. She got me a better rate, better coverage, and better service! I speak highly of them definitely use Governors!

They say they specialize in pet care industry business insurance, the company they connected me with (Hanover) dropped pet care service program participants after only 8 months of having insurance with them, so now Im scrambling once again to find insurance. Governor did not bother to contact any of us in this sector to help or notify. Talk about doing the bare bones. Not a fan.

After looking into a new insurance agent I realized what an average agent Bobby at Governor Insurance really is. I have a new agent at a different company and I can now see just how disinterested and unhelpful Bobby has been over the years. I now have better coverage at a better price and an agent that cares. Glad I shopped around.

I have used Governors for over a decade. Wonderful people, always willing to help and answer questions etc. Highly recommend for the pet industry.
