I've been a loyal customer of Allstate for many years, faithfully paying my premiums and trusting them with my homeowners insurance. Unfortunately, that trust has been shattered. Without warning or reasonable explanation, my policy price increased dramatically. When I called to discuss it—or even to see if there were any options—I was met with apathy (jack). Not only was there no effort to retain me as a long-time customer, but it felt like they couldn’t care less when I said I wanted to cancel. Allstate loves to say "You're in good hands." Based on my experience, those hands must have been busy doing something else—because they certainly weren't helping me. My car insurance increase for the new term was much more than I could do on my budget. I called Denger office, spoke with Victoria, and she was able to switch to a different policy that was just as good as the old one but considerably less. It worked for my budget and needs.
