Been with Gary and Farmers for over a decade. With our small ranch operation not a lot of other large carriers wanted our business - Standard wouldn't touch us because of the value involved - had absolutely no problems and work with him every year to hold our rates to the lowest possible - but they still increase - like they do with everyone. Literally just called for a homeowners insurance quote. I called for a quote and spoke with Madellyn, the conversation was going pretty typically answering normal questions for my quote. Once we got to my DOB, I said I did not want to provide any personal information- I do not want to be bombarded with crazy ads via mail or to my email address, as I am sure many people can relate to.
