They adjusted my claim with false information claiming they "looked up average cost" when we use premium products. I'm hoping this get resolved soon because it's not a good look.

Very greedy company. 5 years in business, never filed a claim, EMC found an opportunity to try and take thousands of dollars from me and my small business for no good reason! We immediately cancelled and are still dealing with their attorney/debt collector “brennan & clark.” I switched to Erie insurance who welcomed me despite all the reasons EMC used to try and steal money from my business. Erie is a great and reasonable for small businesses. DO NOT USE EMC INSURANCE!

I would give zero stars if I could. Literally the worst, deceptive people I have ever had to deal with. First time I was ever injured at work and it was an awful experience from the very beginning. I did everything I was told and complied with all the rules. You are treated like a defendant and they take advantage of people not understanding the process. They only tell you what they have to, if even that. They withhold information and don’t advise or guide you as they should. Only if you do your own research and ask questions will they give you a vague answer. They are not looking out to help you through your claim no matter what they say about wanting to. Miserable experience! We have a small local remodeling business. Only contractors we sub work out to and no employees. We have NEVER filed an insurance claim. They audit us and claim we owe them THOUSANDS of dollars!!! We paid our monthly premiums, never filed a claim and then they try to say we owe them thousands more and demanding g we pay it now!? We are a small business just trying to get by. Not a huge corporation! It makes no sense! We dropped them when we started having these issues. They are the example of a GREEDY insurance company! Way to go guys… try to kill the small business owners!
