Cigna

I purchased this supplemental on December 29, 2011. I've gone to the dentist time 3xs since this purchase. Each and every time, I was told that my dental provider informed me that this is not insurance nor if we accept this. I called Cigna, and they claim it is insurance, and we can not issue you a refund with the exception of proration for the month of March of 2024. I've been paying consecutively since December 2021 through March of 2024, 28 months. I feel I was manipulated and lied to at the time of purchase. I'd like to resolve this with a full refund. Buyers Beware, don't trust or purchase anything from Cinga. They are not forth coming.

Don't get deceived!! Got signed up with Bill (said he lives in Texas n has been working with Cigna for 15/yrs) who failed to tell me of a 6mo wait period for the purpose I bought the plan for (broken tooth). Cigna was quick to take my money but not quick to allow me to use the plan! Not cool! >(

This company is the worst and should be shut down. They are the definition of a scam. Earlier this year my gf and I werenotified they would flat out deny any prescription that wasn't put in for 90 days. A bit annoying, but we could work with that. Except for the fact that they are now denying the 90 day prescriptions saying they can't fill that medication for anything over 34 days, yet they still deny the 30 day supply... this company shouldn't exist and the only reason I haven't left yet is because I need to wait to open enrollment... DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE!

Very frustrating to use. It goes through Instamed sometimes, and Instamed has a stupid system that automatically submits prematurely while filling out payment info whenever you switch apps to check your routing and account numbers. Then you have to wait until the next day to try again if you have not memorized your bank account info. Edit 7/26/23: I was finally able to pay my bill after attempting 4 days in a row (you only get one chance per day without making a mistake). I had to write down on paper what I THOUGHT was the info it would ask for (bank acc/routing #s), then attempt the payment.

Do not get this insurance! All they do is deny coverage for everything!!! It’s been such a battle with them even to get medication for my Autistic son! I need a hip fusion surgery and they denied it so now I can’t work or barely walk and I’m in pain every day because they deny everything! Like the MRI for a possible brain tumor that I have put off now because they aren’t covering it! WTH Cigna is there anything you people are covering? Now I have to find a whole new pharmacy because you’re done accepting refills at the pharmacy I have used for 15 years now! You take money every check for coverage and you don’t cover anything!!!!
