I wish I did a better check before going with this company. I paid my car insurance early on the 16th of February. The total payment was 160.93 which I paid on their website. But I received an email saying my car insurance was about to be canceled. I check on the website again and it’s saying I was a past due balance of 185.93 that due by the 26th of February . I called the company and told the how is it possible my balance is that high if I already paid this month insurance. They told me the payment was inaccurate and I was short 25 from the 160.93 I paid. I said okay I’ll pay the difference. But was then told I would have to pay a late fee as well as the amount difference plus more fees which is now 185.93. Worst instance company I’ve ever been with, and FRAUDULENT. I paid my bill then they said if I don’t pay they’ll cancel my policy and still took my money, I tried calling when I noticed and they told me that they saw I made a payment and that it was really weird that it was saying that and that someone would give me a call within the next two days. I received no calls and they proceeded to say (weeks later in a email) it was “insufficient funds”, they took my money I have proof of it in my bank statements. They won’t give you a number to call they won’t call you back and they’ll still close your policy after you paid it unless you give them more money.

They are completely fraudulent, they continued to charge me for “service fees” that I was unaware of. They took way more money out of my checking account than what I was quoted for. I called three times to unauthorize auto-pay and they continued to make unauthorized transactions. Even after I canceled my policy, they continued to bill me. Upon cancellation, they owed me a Refund for $109 and after I canceled, they changed my policy date and then said I owed them money after they had already mailed me a letter stating that they owed me a refund. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I can’t believe that they have any business at all. I hope that they’re shut down.

This company is very shady. Don’t fall for their low quotes because they find ways to tack on charges …most famously their $10 invoice fee or $20 renewal fee. If you set up autopay, they don’t let you remove payment methods or cancel. You can’t see statements online and when you contact customer service they do the bait & switch by switching you to another agent and you have to start all over while they play dumb. Reviews are awful and I wish I saw it before. I’m sending out multiple letters of complaint. Apparently, they often try to charge your account after cancellation (hence why you can’t remove payment details). They apparently ruin people’s credit. I’m on fire right now and will not let this happen. Very shady business. I can’t believe Farmers or Geico are affiliated.

This company is the worst company they are highly unorganized. They lie to you. They hide recordings that are recorded. They say that you didnt pay when you did and cancel your insurance because they aren't the company who takes your payments. Its AAA who takes your payments and supposedly triple A cant see the information from bristol west in order to tell you the information in what you owe. Id u set up direct deposit through them then it doesn't get transfered to bristol west. Then you sont know when youre late and they cancel you and your license. I know I was up to date on my payment considering I paid it 2 times in a month. Then they cancel me and then send a bill for 8 dollars to collections when I know I paid them more than what I owed.
