Responsiveness to questions is always fast. Very good follow through. Janelle has been great to deal with from the beginning and she is the major reason why we went with Berger & O’Neal insurance group. We received a very thorough analysis with recommendation of the best insurance for our needs and it saved us money while providing much better targeted coverage. I first used an independent insurance agency a couple decades ago when I returned from overseas and needed to buy a vehicle and get insurance immediately (in order to not let insurance lapse). I was in a small town and had little choices available. I then transferred this policy to Atlanta when I settled here permanently and have stayed with independent agencies ever since. I found out that the main thing you need to look at is the AM Best rating and, as long as it is high, you can basically trust the insurance company. However, the companies represented by independent agencies have policies that are significantly lower in price for the same coverage than the well known companies who advertise a lot. I have, consequently, stayed with an independent agency for both auto and home for 26 year
