Auto-Owners Insurance Missouri Regional Office

Auto-Owners Insurance has been awful to deal with throughout our claim. After a confirmed tornado and severe wind and hail event in our area, they have repeatedly refused to properly acknowledge or cover the damage to our home. Despite obvious storm-related damage and multiple neighboring homes receiving full roof replacements, our claim has been delayed, minimized, and pushed back without reasonable explanation. The claims process has been frustrating, slow, and dismissive. Communication has been poor, and it feels like every effort is made to find reasons not to cover damage rather than to help policyholders after a major disaster. We’ve been left dealing with ongoing issues that clearly stem from tornado, wind, and hail damage, yet Auto-Owners has failed to stand behind their policy.

Working with this company has been the worst experience in my life. The communication with the estimator has been 0. No plan or next steps have been sent out. We have a long list of questions that haven't been answered. The mold removal guy has even been prioritized over us. The estimate process has been just as bad. We mentioned to Tom that there are large items missing from our estimate and incorrect product replacement adjustment. We where also told that a woman would be reaching out to us for replacing our personal items not included on his estimate. That hasn't happened either. I'm normally not the kind of guy that does these kind of reviews but good luck to you if you choose them for anything.

Wow is all can say! I have never in my life had an insurance claim. So if you have you know how stressful it is. This was a seamless process and very beneficial. Repairs went over budget because of the building process these days. I was not expecting to compensated over what the original bids were, assuming I would just be out the money. Well they made it right and funded the difference. I would highly recommend this company. Stephen Bray took wonderful care of us!

I had a great experience with my claim when my neighbor brought to my attention that my chimney top had been detached from the chimney. After getting on the ladder and looking at it I saw some other issues with shingles around it and so I decided to call Auto-Owners and ask them to come out and check out my problem. They found issues with my roof due to hail I had four or five weeks prior to this date and so the process started and they sent out an appraiser to appraise the amount of damage and he got that done within 3 days and then he shared the procedure with me on how to go about getting my roof fixed and how I would be given the money for the process in two different time periods to cover everything but my deductible. The agent also recommended a company because I had no idea who to u

Lady BACKED into my daughters car and they have done nothing but fight us and be super disrespectful. Could not file a police report because it was “ private property “ in front of Panchero’s Officer was there made sure info exchanged. They have tried to put my daughter at fault the whole entire time from the start saying we will not pay, even though the DAMAGE IS TO THE REAR of my daughter’s car. Adjuster even came out and assessed the damage. They are rude, talk over you. Not professional in any way shape or form. Absolute joke. Horrible to deal with. Shady
