Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

Anthem is the worst insurance I have ever dealt with. I have had different insurance companies through various employers. I have suffered from 2 different diagnosis’ for 10-15 years and have been on numerous meds with a trial and error approach. I have new meds that work, but Anthem as my new insurance will not cover. They keep denying and wanting me to try the same meds that did not work. This process of trial and error for meds will again take months, before my doctor says then they will have to cover the ones that do work. Why should I suffer and no one is able to help me when I contact them via email or phone.

Just received a new perception for my migraines. Guess what they don't cover it! This med would help with less uses of opiates. It's big pharmacy at work again to keep making addicts!

Reject every claim my family submits. Refuse to pay on things that are specifically covered. I have their Advantage plan and they consistently cheat me at every opportunity. We're a thousand dollars over the deductible and they still refuse to pay for anything.

I wish I could give 'Anthem blue cross blue shield 0 star' but there is no option for that. I''m giving them a 1 star because there is always a LONG wait when calling them for help. They delay payments to doctors after my visit. Their representatives do not always have the answers to my questions, instead I'm transferred from one department to another. Next thing you know you have just spent 2hrs speaking to them to pay for your doctors visit or solve any other issues. I will not ever go back to Anthem. Really DISAPPOINTED WITH THIER SERVICE:(
