AAA South Portland Insurance and Member Services

After checking for appointment with DMV (11 weeks first available) for license renewal I checked AAA on Western Avenue. I was in and out in 12 minutes. Great service and thorough.

I have always had AAA and always been very satisfied, but Alison at this location is truly an amazing person. She was able to help me and has made me a lifelong AAA fan.

I had called and spoke to a very nice woman who assured me I could renew my license. We went in on Saturday and there was only one man there. He was gruff and rude and said I needed to go to DMV. No explanation. He was so unfriendly. We will not renew AAA

I called ahead of time and asked if they did license registration at this office. In Connecticut this is common, as well as the office in Waterville Maine. The receptionist said yes, as long as you don’t need a real ID. Great, so I drove 35 minutes, walked in and said what I was there for. The guy at the desk acted like this was crazy and that he had never heard of it and couldn’t do it. Wish I wasn’t told otherwise….

Came in for an International Drivers Permit and there were some technological difficulties so it took a little longer than expected. The employees were super nice though and apologized and made up for it even though I wasn't bothered! Great customer service.
