AAA Nanuet

I had a great experience at this AAA location. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and professional, and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Everything was handled efficiently and smoothly. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at AAA Nanuet. Mike was able to handle my very difficult out of state title situation. He clearly explained the process and what needed to be done. He was very flexible and patient. The DMV processors were also professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Overall, an amazing experience. I would recommend AAA Nanuet to anyone!

Mike, the supervisor, was aggressive and rude. I was trying to have a simple conversation, but he would cut me off every few words. When I called him out and asked him to please let me finish explaining myself he got aggressive and raised his voice. It’s unfortunate because the front desk employees were kind and the insurance agent, Akash, was professional and knowledgeable. The manager came to speak to me after the argument and she was kind and understanding. I am a new member to AAA and was excited about joining and visiting my local AAA location. Unfortunately, they have an incompetent supervisor. He did not even apologize afterwards. Eat rocks Mike👎

I wish I can put 0 stars. My husband and I visited this location over the weekend to change the title on our car. Since weekends are the only time he’s available, we made a special effort to get there. We hit traffic and called ahead to let them know we’d be about 10 minutes late—but it took 47 minutes for someone to answer the phone. When we arrived, the energy felt off. A staff member started assisting us, but once she learned we wanted to transfer the title of a vehicle purchased at auction, she called over someone named Mike. My husband had all the necessary paperwork, and the title was clean—not salvage. Despite this, we were told they couldn’t help us solely because the car came from an auction. No real explanation, no alternative offered. The experience left us feeling dismissed

I checked what could be done and what could not be done by AAA DMV. I made my appointment, waited on line, started to process my paperwork to register my vehicle only to be told I could not do it there because I bought the car at auction. Clean signed title with bill of sale but supervisor stated I have to go to an official DMV office. No where does it say on any site, DMV or AAA that cars bought at auction can't be registered at a AAA location. A whole day wasted and now I have to wait three weeks (after waiting two already) and another day off. Would expect more from AAA. Update your website information!
