AAA Maryville

Do not use them to book a trip. They did not take care of my mother at all. The AAA discount is less than $100 and they don't give you all of the information up front, you have too find things out for yourself. We bought the insurance for our flight and then it was not honored when we needed to change the flight. When you ask them questions about why you can do it yourself cheaper they do not have a answer. Then when you change a flight you have to call the airline but the AAA rep doesn't tell you that. You have to figure it out.

We tried to get a tow when my son broke down on Pellissippi parkway. The text they sent so we could mark our location on a map did not work. I spent 30 minutes trying to tell the agent exactly where we were. We were on Pellissippi Parkway I-140, heading south/east towards Alcoa/Maryville and we just got on from Kingston Pike which is exit 1 on Pellissippi. I'm not sure what was difficult about that to understand where we were but it apparently was. The agent I was speaking to had absolutely zero knowledge of the area and could not find I-140 on their map. After 30 minutes they eventually scheduled a tow truck driver who called me 15 minutes later. He was new to the area and didn't know where we are. He said he had never heard of Pellissippi and did not know his way around Knoxville. I spen

AAA was having a military appreciation discount special Nov 3-Nov 7. My husband tried to go join AAA on Nov 6, to take advantage of the special, but said he found they were only open 3 days a week, MTW. So they were closed for 2 of the 5 days of the signup special.

Friendly, convenient AAA location! This location offers insurance and travel services. This was my second visit to the Maryville AAA branch. My husband recently died and I needed assistance with his auto insurance policy. Insurance agents Vince and BJ have been of great help with the process of recording my husband's death and canceling his auto insurance. Vince assisted me during my first visit and BJ completed the final paperwork and documentation on the second visit. I greatly appreciate their help with this process. We ordered a truck because we had a low tire. We had to go to the doctor early the next morning. So we called at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. At 3:30 a.m. we received a text saying they were sorry that they weren't able to get to them. This is unacceptable for them. They are in their 80's and we got this for them for that reason. I do believe that they deserve another year of this service for free since they have not used this service at all.
