William G Mechling Insurance Agency

Our family experienced massive damage to our home's roof, facia, guuter system, and siding due to the severe hail storm of May 2025. We had Erie Insurance through William G. Mechling Insurance Agency in Indiana, Pa. Up to the storm, we never launch a home owner's claim. Mechling and Erie Insurance did not cover our siding which is no longer made and available. When we purchased the insurance we were told we had complete coverage on our home. They did not cover our siding, and it cost us over $19,000 to replace the siding. Our family will drop Mechling and Erie due to them not being reliable and giving us false information.

Up until today 9/29/23 dealing with these people has been positive, they've been helpful and listened to what was said. Jake did NOT listen to what I said on the above date which caused a cancelation of a policy. I will not be returning nor can I recommend anyone to go with this agency.
