Wellington Claim Service handled my homeowners claim in a way that left me responsible for thousands of dollars out of pocket, despite providing contractor estimates and cooperating fully throughout the process. The amount issued was not sufficient to properly restore my roof and prevent further damage. This experience caused significant financial stress and was extremely disappointing after maintaining coverage and paying premiums in good faith. Homeowners should carefully review policy coverage and claim handling expectations before choosing this carrier.

Excellent customer service skills by both Christina and Claudette. I was so appreciative of Christina making sure I didn’t get into the endless loop of getting an issue resolved. She handled it and had the issue taken care of in our first call, and within 10 minutes.

I purchased a policy for my two rent houses about three months ago. Be careful with this company just because you get it drafted through your account they charge you an extra seven dollars every month and my agent did not pay for my first months and they charged me a $12 late fee. I’m gonna see how I can cancel. I had never seen that before. I do not recommend.

I’m very disappointed with Wellington Insurance. After a tornado hit our neighborhood, my roof started leaking and I filed a claim expecting help from my insurance provider. Unfortunately, Wellington Insurance denied my claim even though the damage clearly resulted from the storm. I provided all the required documentation and photos, but their adjusters were unhelpful and dismissive. When you pay your premiums, you expect your insurance company to be there when you need them most — not to deny legitimate claims. I would caution anyone considering Wellington Insurance to look into other companies that actually stand behind their customers when disaster strikes. We have been with this company since 2008. My house received severe structural damage along with roof damage from hurricane Beryl along with tornados that swept through our neighborhood. Wellington only paid for part of the roof and AC that was ripped from our roof. They refused to pay for all the cracked walls, ceilings, exterior cracks, cracks in pilings as my house is in stilts. I had to hire my own people to get any type of money to fix my home. People they had sent out along with my contractors were stating my home was a total loss. I attempt to reach out to get depreciation funds released after repairs for going on 2 years and they will not return my calls.
