At this point, if I could give it ZERO stars I would. They still had my incorrect address and was told BY THEM that if my card expires while my payment is in autorenewal, they did not need to notify of any issues with a payment. Meaning, your policy could expire and you wouldn't know... Despite this, I submitted request to see if policy could be reinstated, because I was told by rep it would ONLY take up to 15 days (also addresses can't be updated until after this..) This is since Feb and is now mid-April. They don't just not communicate for any updates, I HAVE TO BE THE ONE asking consistently about my case, because they still have my money and haven't made a decision. Worst insurance company I ever dealt with - 0 Stars. Can't get a yearly 1099 Tax statement. Customer service representative tells you it was mailed on Jan. 31 and it's now Feb. 7 and I still haven't received it. Vantis Life has a website but you can't access the 1099 Tax statement there. Whoever heard of a company that doesn't have the capability of doing that? This life insurance was taken out in 1968 and this is the kind of service you get. Very dissatisfied.

Horrible experience here! If I could give it -10stars I would! My mother opened an annuity many years ago with SBLI.. vantis life bought them out. She was saving for her elderly years. Little did she know when it came time to need her funds this company would put up roadblock after roadblock trying to get to them. At first they would not accept my power attorney as her daughter which I used to sell her house when she became disabled and other banking. They finally accepted the power of attorney. When I filed the paperwork for termination so my mother who cannot walk anymore can buy diapers they dragged this out for over a month. Whenever I would call they would act as though I was trying to steal the money. After I submitted all the paperwork which I had to get a notary for..after 30 days

First we had to chase after forms. Then they told us it would be 10-14 days for payment of death benefit. Called back two weeks later and was now told it was 10-14 BUSINESS days. Fine. Two more weeks goes by so we call again. This time we wait on hold for 30 minutes for the "next available representative" to take our call. But instead of getting a representative we get a voicemail recording, "This is Kristin. Please leave a message." Really?! And to top it off we don't get to leave a message...it disconnects us! Unbelievable! It's bad enough to lose your loved one. People shouldn't have to go through such frustrations trying to get the claim paid. Pretty shady insurance company. Put a claim in for accelerated death benefit claim, and they deny it saying we lied. We got the insurance the same time we got another policy through Colonial Life insurance. The claim went through with Colonial Life insurance just fine and we answered all questions the same. So, that tells me they just don't want to pay an eligible claim, and need to make up an excuse. I would never suggest this company to any one. Should of listened to the reviews before I purchased. Now I can't get life insurance anymore anywhere. Scam, scam, scam. That's all this place is.
