The Hartford

In 1959 I was licensed to drive cars. Over the years I have been with many automobile insurers. The Hartford isn't perfect. My personal experience has been The Hartford is vastly superior to every other company I insured through. Never having had a home owners claim I have no opinion on home insurance. Over three decades of experience having been, robbed, vandalized, hit many times and many phone conversations is the source of my high opinion. Prior to the Hartford I never received proper compensation with a claim. With one National Insurer I was advised the only way I could get a proper settlement was to lie and say I suffered from a type of physical pain. The Hartford builds a better future.

If i could give zero i would. Avoid at all cost.. I canceled my auto policy with them last week and they have twice charged my account, when I called to complain they told me there was nothing the could do and that my account would continue to be charged. When I told them that's theft they hung up on me. Needless to say I'm getting a new bank account

If I could give them a zero I would. There are so unfair it’s amazing. Accident last year and I still haven’t been paid. And the settlement I want is cheaper than what they want to do. And what ever they give me they will get from the person that hit my truck. So don’t whatever you do buy insurance from these jerks.

Wildly disappointed in The Hartford. The extent of how bad they are is truly draconian. I was forced to go through The Hartford to claim benefits for Paid Family Leave. Here are the specific problems I had. I started the claim months before it was supposed to go in effect. Despite several attempts at getting the ball rolling, they didn’t start the claim until June and said I had initiated it then. Then they send me an email saying I need to ‘login’ to add forms. I didn’t even know there was a login- or this is something I needed to do. So I called and only then did someone send me an email with a link to create a login. Finally I’m logged in and able to upload the documents I was never told I needed to do. I go through three times, each time it says I need to upload again. Their server/p

I was helping my mom with the life insurance after my dad passed away. I talked to Thomas Deschenes and he was great. He emailed me what I needed right away.
