UHC denied my flu vaccination claim, yet encouraged me to get one by giving me a $20 reward for doing so. That's not the worse of it. They also denied a claim for life threatening inpatient care. This company is a huge part of the problem with the U.S. healthcare system. Someone should bring this to the attention of their CEO.

Nothing against this specific location, but this review is for United Healthcare SOLEY. Don’t even bother applying for this insurance. It’s terrible and you won’t get approved for medicine that could LITERALLY save your life.

These guys refused to cover the cost of an annual check up at my doctor's office.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Anytime customer service is called it is transfered to a UHC/OPTUMrx offshore call center and the agents native language is not English and they cannot properly understand or speak English. After several requests to speak with someone who's native language is English they just tell you to call back or transfer you to someone else in the call center. And as far as getting prescriptions goes they sent me four times the amount of one and none of the other that I needed and now that I'm out they say that they are on backorder and every time this happens then I got to call my doctor he's going to call it into my local pharmacy and then OptumRx when they get it back in stock will automatically go and send the doctor a fax stating that they need his prescript

On my plan it says a medicine is covered with no prior authorization. But they refused to fill and denied it. I called and was told it needs prior authorization, my plan says one thing and they say another.
