Tunnell Insurance Agency Inc: Allstate Insurance

Moved my auto and homeowners policy to Allstate. When I read through the policies I realized that the conditions to receive the discounts were not communicated to me. One was tracking my driving via the drivewise app. I’d never allow any insurance company to track my driving. When I reached out to my agent, Andrea, she was unresponsive. She was easy to get ahold of when I was going through the quotation process looking for a new carrier. Once she had my business she disappeared. I canceled my policies immediately and went with State Farm. Tunnell Agency lost my business and didn’t get a penny from me. Truly the most unprofessional and classless insurance agency I’ve dealt with. I highly recommend reading their negative reviews prior to doing business with Shields and Tunnell Agency.

Buyer beware! I had originally given them a 5-star rating because they were awesome to convert to with a homeownership change. HOWEVER, after many years of being a customer and we had a claim. They were AWEFUL to deal with. Short paid on car repair work that was quoted by two well-known collision repair companies. The two companies' estimates were within $200 of each other and all details were communicated to Shields with no indication not to proceed. We moved ahead with repairs and when reimbursement was requested, we received significantly less what the actual costs were. Upon resolution, got bounced around from agent to agent. Had finally requested a call with Ken and were denied. Never did get full reimbursement for actual costs. Moved my business to a new company.
