The Main Street Group

My mom chose this insurance broker after she moved from CA to live with me due to stage 4 cancer. She could still drive and needed insurance. She found the Main Street Group and Jeff Reed presented her with a policy through progressive that cost her $60 a month more than her progressive policy in CA. My mom lived on her SS. She passed away 4 months after the start of her policy. I called Main St Group to inform them that I needed to cancel her policy. After brief phone tag I spoke to Jeff and he told me that I needed a copy of her death certificate and proof that I have power of attorney in order to cancel her policy. I told him that I had the certificate but not the power of attorney. He told me “the policy will have to die from nonpayment“ He apologized for being crass, but continued to

Jeff is by far the greatest insurance salesman I’ve ever done business with. Ridiculously intelligent, and won’t hold his tongue on what you need to hear. Caters mainly to young men who typically have a spotty record and gives excellent wisdom on what to do to lower their rates.
