They hang up the phone after being on hold for 40 min. ZERO help!!!

EDD’s staff are nice but they really don’t share information together. Each time I’d ask the same thing but i would get A different answer. Doesn’t matter if you called or went there in person. You’ll need to waste at least an hour or above. And not even get a satisfied result. The state government always take the most tax money from the hard working people and benefit others. When us tax payers actually need help with the money we paid before they’ll find as many excuses as possible to stop you getting your benefit. Great system!

I have been waiting over 8 months for my appeal. They never respond, never pick up the phone, and could not ware ANY less about what others go through. They just go to "work" and collect paychecks for not doing anything and using Covid as an excuse not to answer phone calls.
