Steve Helwig & Associates: Allstate Insurance

Everytime I call, the agents are rude and act like they can't be bothered to do their job. I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service. How hard is it to send a declaration page for auto insurance without catching an attitude?

We moved to SC in 2013 and have been using Steve Helwig since that time for our homeowners and auto insurance. Steve and his associates are helpful, responsive and always pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them for your insurance needs. Thanks for many years of great service!!!

We were in an accident caused by 2 trucks hitting us while we sat still in traffic. Our car was totaled and my husband suffered a traumatic head injury. None of the safety bags on his side deployed in our Maserati, thus no ‘Protection’ on his side, which caused my husband to have a ‘shaken baby’ injury when his head hit the center post between the front and back seats of the SUV. My husband was thought to be dead. I had punctured lungs and the top 2 ribs were broken and i had severe internal injuries, but I got my hand up to his neck somehow and felt a faint pulse. The ambulance was on the way and by the Grace of God, EMS responders were able to get him out of the car without using the jaws of life. As an Allstate customer for 20+ years in GA , I stuck with what I knew to be good and true. Homeowners and car for all those years and was sad to change people when I changed states, but ALL GOOD in SC too! Tracy Pratt has handled me with care and made everything smooth in my transition. She is outstanding! So super satisfied !!

Very disappointed with the person that answered the phone today. I had previously called this agency and the associate was willing to help me change the beneficiary on a life insurance policy so I would not make a mistake. The associate today was short tempered, did not listen or understand my request and told me no one in his office would either. I thanked him for his "Good Hands".
