Upon learning the hijacking of recent rate hikes in home insurance, I searched many places for a better price. I contacted multiple independent insurance agents, I got the best price from Sam's office. They only offer home insurance as low as 1,000 deductible but it is the same for hurricane also, which is a huge plus. I already have my 2 autos with State Farm thru Sam's office, so with the discounts for that, the wind mitigation I had done when my new roof was installed (2020), and the 4 point inspection they require, I now am only a few hundred more out of pocket than I was before with Kin. Also, and extremely important on this issue is Kin wouldn't cover my solar system and many insurance companies are not covering them, so it is important that it is covered by your home insurance along
