Called to get a quote on a home policy. The lady I spoken with was very rude. She made a comment about a competitor stating “I know how crocked they are”. The conversation was very unproductive and uncomfortable. I never even got the quote I called for and she ended up hanging up on me. I’m a current customer and highly considering switching companies because of this interaction.

I had been a customer for quite awhile. Quotes I was given over the phone were not honored & would increase significantly without any notice once I received my policy in writing or my bill. This happened several times. I moved to another residence 2 min away while I put my house on the market & Erie increased my monthly auto premium $35 mo without any notice/explanation...no traffic violations/accidents...just because I moved?!! I ended up taking my business elsewhere.
