Shelter Insurance - Matt McKinney

DO NOT GO WITH SHELTERS INSURANCE. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER! I finally found another company to go with that is way cheaper and nicer to their customers. So we called them saying that we would like to cancel the vehicle insurance at the END OF THE PERIOD. They are saying that we told them by the end of the day today 12/04/2025. They won’t change it to what we told them and so after today will not have car insurance because of them wanting to lie about what was said. I will also take this to better business bureau

Matt is very knowledgeable and very helpful whenever I have questions about my insurance. Anytime I call they are professional and I receive great service. Shelter is such a great company and they always taken care of us.

I'm on a fixed income and recently had to renew my car insurance. I looked online went to local businesses and all quoted prices way too far out of my price range. I was almost about to give up and stop driving my car. I was driving by Dollar general and saw shelter insurance and decided to pull in to see. I worked with Kim and I want to tell everyone she is awesome. She gave me a price a lot lower than what I was paying. I recommend her to everyone.
