I waited over 40 minutes on hold so I could give them a new VISA card number to pay for my wife's monthly dental insurance premium. Because I am not the insured person (just the one who pays the bills) they would not take my information; they offered to (snail) mail a form for me to mail back and were not capable of servicing my needs by email. What a waste of 40 minutes to speak to a dinosaur of a company with inadequate customer service. Its easier to just cancel the policy and move my business elsewhere.

Found an old policy from my father-in-law after he passed I have tried three phone numbers - one was for a dental insurance agency, the second was for a wellness food company and the third is not in service

Ameritas is a joke!!! Plan stated it covered 50% on crowns but only payed 16.50 I pay them more then that a month. and left me with a 357.50 bill saying core build up is not included. Its part of the crown!.. If you like being ripped off and taken advantage of this is the place for you!

Investing insurance in this company is a waste of time. The information they provide is vague and changes when it's time to file a claim. Their customer service is horrible. It takes them over 30 days to respond to a short term disability claim.

Don't waste your money. Worst dental insurance I have ever had! They paid 40 dollars on a 110.00 cleaning and it was suppose to be paid 100%
