Security Health Plan

Don’t go with this plan, in the 2 months I’ve used the plan I have had numerous prescriptions not covered, my copays are astronomical and I guess they know more than my specialists at Rochester Mayo, telling me I have to use cheaper meds first.Even tried to get me to take a cheaper medication even though I told them I was allergic to it. I’ve now went out of remission because of loss of prescriptions. If I had read the reviews of their prescriptions plan I would have run away!! My favorite was when they sent a form to my doctor for pre authorization. The form had a fax number. Today I was told it was the incorrect number. Long hold times, no call backs.

Security Health Plan switching to Optum rx has been horrible since 1/1/26. Three prescriptions now that I have been using for years, they wont approve until they get a prior auth and then they may or may not approve. These are meds that have been working great for me for years. Its all about the money and not about helping the patient.

This plan covers less and less the people are nice however they switch you over to a plan that you have no idea what you're covered with. Absolutely no weight loss drugs are covered the co-pays are ridiculous the doctor has to appeal every decision . And every appeal is denied the policies are terrible and it's getting more expensive to have this insurance than to go without they don't pay for anything I'm switching

trying to pay bill been on hold for 2.5 hours. sure glad we have so many options through the Unaffordable Care Act. customer service sucks

I like my insurance but thought it was pretty crappy that we have to pay tax on the OTC meds for the catalog orders. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
