Safeco Insurance

Gotta hate this stupid company so much!! Their RightTrack drive program is a scam. It is set up to screw you over and steal money from you. And there is nothing you can do about it. I’ve used drive programs with GEICO and farmers without any issues. I’ve had problems nonstop with Safeco. I just switched companies and I’m paying an extra $480 for my policy. If they’re willing to screw their customers on their policy price with a program weighted and designed to recoup money, how much do you wanna bet they will screw you over in an accident? I’m not gonna find out. Steer clear of this company.

I don't understand how this company is still in business.. Today Safeco stole money out of my account and it is pretty depressing. A month ago I received an email stating they plan to charge my account an amount that I never agreed to be charged. I pay my insurance in full, So the insurance was paid in full for a year, and there's no reason to charge me again 5 months after i paid already!. This company has decided to fraudulently charge me and I've called them over and over explaining i don't agree to these charges!!! Today with no real explanation and no actual warrant my account has had money stolen out of it by Safeco. I have no idea what to do because I dont want to lose my car insurance! I feel extorted and victimized by a company that is supposed to insure me to feel safe.

I paid my premium on 2 cars and 2 houses with my Capital One credit card and paid off the credit card (in full) as soon as I received it. I cancelled my insurance after 2 months due to the errors made by the agent and customer service representatives. Safeco REFUNDED my payment to Capitol One, which now leaves me with a huge CREDIT on my credit card, and a shortage of cash in my checking account because I had to pay the premiums to the NEW insurer. If I pay a merchant with a credit card, I am still the buyer, am I not? Even if I return something to Walmart, I’m asked if I want the money or if I want to have it go back to my card as a credit. Who runs Safeco? I can prove how dumb they are. I told them I drive about 3 miles a day - they applied it TO WORK. I’m 78 - retired since 2013

Avoid this insurance at all cost. One of the most shady companies I've ever dealt with. They will add people and stuff to your policy that you didn't ask for and expect you to send it paperwork saying no, I'm going to be reporting to the BBB and the attorney general. Hopefully we can get them blacklisted from Washington.

How does a insurance company that has such horrendous ratings still exist. How can they get away with treating not only their own customers but the poor unfortunate people like myself that suffer a accident with someone carrying their insurance. I mean the body shops I went to literally was getting ready to schedule my truck for repairs when I told him that the person responsible has Safeco insurance. He said "We work with every insurance company in WA state on a contingency level except safeco! Their "investigators" are basically Con artists". And boy was he right 3 shops quoted the damage to my truck which liability was never a question at between $9700-$11600... They gave me $3500. And mind you 1200 of that was to cover my rental car.
