Roland Shoff: Allstate Insurance

I have had my homeowners insurance with this company since I bought my house. I recently had an inspection done and the insurance company wanted some repairs to be made. I was notified on 2/27 and sent documentation of the repairs on 3/4. The insurance agent never sent over my documentation to the company resulting in my policy being cancelled. They did not want to help get my old policy reinstated but instead would only give me new insurance quotes. The new quotes are substantially more ( approximately $300 per month) which is putting extreme financial distress on my family. Do not depend on this company to do what they are supposed to. Beware.

Roland has always been kind of short and not pleasant with his emails. We were stuck with Citizens with two properties and one of them got a depopluation letter saying they would move us to another insurance agency if we did not get higher Flood insurance. They moved us and we ended up paying hundreds of dollars less. So we waited to see if that would happen with the other home by not signing back up with Citizens. Well that home did not get a depopluation letter and if Roland took any care and time with his clients he would have asked us , hey did you get a depoplulation letter? Because if you did not , no chance you will get changed. Roland did not help us when trying to navigate this and could care less. We told him we had to go back to citizens and he said sorry not interested i

I have been very pleased with this Amazing Group! I have been treated so kindly and have never had any issues with them. They are on top of every concern You may have and quickly respond. Thank You for all You have done for Me ! God Bless Each One!

My experience with this company was great until it came time to actually make a claim. I was given multiple false promises by Roland himself and his pretentious assistant Mitchell who met every qualm with a snarky remark. Not at all the company the type of company you should do business with if you care about true customer service. It’s obvious that Roland has gotten fat and happy, no longer a hard worker for his clients. Every time I would call at 2 in the afternoon he was already gone for the day. There are better and more deserving choices in Melbourne.
