Clara Pregent and by association Relation Insurance she represents has so far refused to: 1) Identify herself, and still refuses to show proof of her licence to sell insurance in NY when asked 2) refused to change to my mailing address so I could get mail, since a "PO Box" couldn't cover my renters policy 3) Care about customers at all (for instance, blame me for Nationwide mail they didn't send: legally binding and important paperwork legally required to be sent at 40 days and delivered to my address: the proper way in proper time.) 4) Have me sign a cancellation request when I asked her several times to send it last week 5) Transfer me to underwriting 6) still refuses to cancel my policy literally stealing money from me. I have to call her out in this format, as she has refused to do her

I’ve been a customer of the DeVito Agency for many years. They’re always helpful and fast with any adds or changes. Recently we had a very large claim and the insurer threatened to not renew us - Clare especially, but everyone at DeVito worked hard to change the insurer’s decision and come to a scenario that would allow them to renew us with a rate increase that wasn’t crazy. Having been with them so long they were able to be a reference for us to the insurance company and stick up for the fact that we pay on time and add to the policy rather than shop around, etc - the personal touch is why you use an agency rather than just shop online - and it’s especially true for DeVito!

Office closed without notice or notifying me (presumably Victor retired) and did not assign a new agent prior to closing, which has wasted me all sorts of time.

I always pay my entire insurance have no tickets and when I needed to use my insurance got completely screwed. They tried to total out my car at a ridiculous amount and what they said was wrong was not even the case and I payed out of pocket less than half of what they estimated the damage to be. All this with full coverage and they wouldnt even pay for my rental. When my policy is over I am done with nationwide period

Have used this agency for quite a few years now. Any time l call the staff is always pleasant and helpful. Makes dealing with insurance matters easy.
