Regence BlueShield of Idaho

I just canceled my policy with Regence after 20 years. The reasons are, from tomorrow (1 Jan 2026) my charges would be: 1. My monthly premium would go up to $965 a month from $427. 2. My 'out of pocket' would go up to $10,600 from $4,000. 3. My co-pay would double. 4. My deductible would be $9,000 (down from $10,000). 5. No dental or vision. I really wanted to continue health insurance and believe it's important to be covered but can't afford this as a single woman living on my own with limited income! If I could give them a zero star right now I would!! I wish the State of Idaho would go back to Blue Cross of Idaho. With Blue Cross I could go online and pull up a summary of the EOB for my family for the year for taxes. With Regence every member of the family must log on individually to get theirs. They wouldn't even do a verbal agreement for each individual because I was on the phone with them. And don't get me started on their anti-physical therapy stance. Your doctor says you need it, the therapist agrees, but if you aren't completely healed in the time frame the insurance company wants they cut you off. Please state of Idaho...go back to Blue Cross of Idaho!!!!!

ZERO out of 5 stars. I switched surgeons and delayed a back surgery in an effort to remain "in-network" with my Regency BlueShield of Idaho insurance plan. Despite the many delays and efforts I still ended up with approximately $14,000 on my out-of-network deductible. I had many phone calls with Regency representatives trying to avoid this very thing, and yet it happened. Complete disappointment on the customer service and clarity. If you have other options, I suggest you pursue them!

Very disappointed in this insurance. The state of Idaho switched to them a couple of years ago and coverage has declined dramatically. They also think that CGMs for T1 diabetics are optional.

They're canceling GLP-1 coverage for state employees starting November 1. I have been on it for over a month and have noticed a difference. I have Lupus and it has caused me to have Hashimoto's (attacking my thyroid) which has made losing weight damn near impossible. I track my macros, eat healthy, lift, and get 10,000 steps a day and saw nothing move on the scale or in my personal measurements. I have met with a dietician and everything. This medication has been the only thing that has worked and now they're basically taking it away from me. I am so sick of insurance companies doing this to us. They can just decide whenever they want to stop covering something. Switch back to Blue Cross, Idaho! Regence keeps raising their costs while taking away benefits! This has to violate the bidding w
