Rancho Cucamonga DMV

In 2 hours I watched B075 go to B083. Absolutely ridiculous. Make sure to request a day off if you come here however I'd go elsewhere next time.

The only thing that made me feel welcome here were the security guards; they were very helpful. But the staff at the counters were incredibly rude and unprofessional. This was the case at every single counter I went to, regardless of their ethnicity. They clearly didn't enjoy their jobs. They were happy to leisurely drink coffee and chat, but unwilling to provide service. My documents were thrown out of the window, and I was told I had to use a machine to complete the transaction, as it couldn't be done manually. I arrived at the DMV at 8 AM in a good mood, no queue, but after leaving the DMV, my mood was ruined for the rest of the day. What did I do wrong? Couldn't I ask questions? Couldn't I ask them to speak more slowly? Did I cause them any trouble?

I've never been to such a terrible DMV. The one in Ranch is one of the worst. A long time ago, it was my favorite DMV; the staff were friendly and efficient. But today, the counter staff were incredibly rude. They had no desire to work, only wanting to chat amongst themselves, smiling at their colleagues but giving cold stares to customers. They didn't listen to requests or explanations (or didn't even finish listening) before directing customers to different windows, like playing a game of hot potato. I waited in line at three different windows before finally getting a number. I waited in line twice at window 26 (they had two queues for different services, but both converged to one window with only one person working). Tia the desk lady was so great, i hadn’t received my tags and she made the entire process so easy, she knows what she is doing! Please give her a raise asap!!! Her name was Tia I don’t know if I spelled it correctly but all I know is that she is doing her job and she’s doing the best at it. I will be recommending this dmv from now on just because of her, (the front desk lady was rude) but Tia literally changed the entire experience. They need to hire more tias lol.

I’d like to leave a positive review, especially for Dana, Lina, and Liz. These three women truly went above and beyond to help me resolve a complicated issue that had been going on for nearly three years involving the Federal Tax Reserve, the Franchise Tax Board, and several toll agencies that were double charging and overbilling. Thank you, Dana.
