Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

Do not get any kind of insurance with Progressive. Lesson learned the hard way... After having insurance with Progressive for auto, home and travel trailer for over 12 years, Progressive Insurance first attempted to extort money from me in the way of higher auto premiums after obtaining information on my minor child who is not licensed or permitted to drive. Then after being threatened with collections, successfully extorted money from me on a canceled travel trailer policy.

This claims department is so bad I'm starting to wonder if proceeding with the big L actions is going to be in my best interest . 1 of the clients t-boned me over a week ago. They sent me a virtual quote based off of the pictures but that quote is missing items that should be included. The agent on this claim is Heather Becker and I cannot ever seem to reach her. Her voicemail says if you leave a message before 3pm you will get a call back the same day. Well that's an absolute lie as I have been doing this for days now with 0 call backs. I have even tried reaching her supervisor Chris Perez with again 0 call backs. Something needs to be changing asap as I need my car fixed! So I was in an accident on the 27th of March, towed my car and filed my claim on the same date while I was still at site of accident . I heard from my Agent , V. PORTER that Monday , got my SUV did a secondary inspection after the body shop did their work appraisal that Tuesday and was informed (the SUV) was a loss 2days later. I am happy how quick they resolve my claim so I could go on with my regular work routine.So far , I am happy with Progressive.

Had horrible experience with progressive. Got into an accident in October with a deer. Have had problem since then. It’s been in the shop 4 times since. Dealer has took it back again today because of another issue and the body shop is saying that it’s from the accident but my adjuster is saying no because they can’t “pin point “ that it’s from the accident. Car is a 2023 with 20,000 miles. 😡

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My car was hit, and my claim representative gave me incorrect dates, resulting in a $300 out-of-pocket expense for my rental. I have text messages and screenshots of my rep telling me when to return everything. She was ultimately fired, and my case was transferred to Haley, who couldn't care less, and I’m surprise she even has a job there. Despite my numerous calls and texts, she made no effort to look into the situation. I provided all the evidence, but received no help. I've been a customer of Progressive my entire driving life, and this was my first accident. Coincidentally, the person who hit me was also a Progressive member.
