I was contacted by Rob, who seemed very professional at first. I asked for a quote with full coverage, including uninsured motorist, but he told me I didn’t need that if I had health insurance—which is not true. Uninsured motorist coverage protects you in many more ways than just medical. When I finally reviewed the paperwork, I realized the policy had much lower coverage than I requested, and the price was actually more than what I currently pay for better coverage. I told them I didn’t want it—but they had already sent my info to the insurance company and withdrew money from my account without my approval. They also log you into the policy under their control, so you can’t contact the insurance company directly. After I canceled, they ignored my calls completely.
