DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Ashley is unprofessional and he’s so rude, Doug writes the policies wrong and constantly makes mistakes and the customer has to deal with their mistakes! I will never use this company again. The rates and bills are ridiculous also. They discriminate and treat families with special needs children rude and don’t have ANY knowledge about handicapped accessible vehicles nor do they add the proper insurance to cover the vehicles! Then they lie and say you never told them it was a handicapped accessible vehicle. Why would someone even do that? The agents don’t know what they are doing and Ashley is VERY disrespectful! The star is for business being open when I went by there. My husband ask for a quote on his policy that he has with another agency and as of 01/15/2016 we have not heard a word. I was in need of him faxing a declaration to the NG so that my Physical Damage Coverage would remain intake and I have never received a confirmation that was done....ALSO, shared with the the agent that I had a son that would be 16 in a couple of months and I would be needing insurance for him as well at that time. All I can say is they must not need the business to turn away business of a total of 5 new cars to insure by just not acting on their word to call us back. I'm still trying to see if my situation has been fixed by calling NG myself.

Today I received my auto insurance bill and almost had a heart attack with the increase of adding the third vehicle. Phone call to Ashley Woolard , whom we have had insurance With for over 20 years and not only did he go over and beyond to see what the deal... My insurance now will decrease almost a $100 month!! All the more reason to shop local for all your needs!!

Ashley is great to deal with. He and Doug have been in the business for a long time and Pamlico Insurance is a staple in our community.
