Oak Hill Insurance

I recently visited Oak Mill Insurance and had a very disappointing experience with their customer service. I waited at the front desk for about eight minutes while the representative with orange hair was on the phone. During that entire time, she did not acknowledge me, greet me, or even make eye contact. It’s understandable that employees may be busy, but basic courtesy—such as a quick “I’ll be with you shortly”—goes a long way. Being completely ignored made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. This level of service is unprofessional and shows a lack of consideration for customers’ time. I hope the management addresses this issue and provides better training on customer communication and professionalism. Until then, I cannot recommend Oak Mill Insurance based on this experience.

Be aware that this agency does NOT sell HEALTH INSURANCE. They sell Christian Health Memberships. I was NOT TOLD this until I received my paper work and read all the SELLING DISCLAIMERS. The agent was not able to give me his license number. Nor could he tell me his agency name. When he got a supervisor on the phone, the man told me to find a new carrier and hung up on me. My policy was cancelled and I was not charged. As a life and health agent seeking HEALTH INSURANCE, I know what to ask and what to look out for. The agent never once said this is a health MEMBERSHIP. I will be reporting this agency to the Insurance Fraud Department for deceptive practices.
