National General Insurance

I canceled my insurance policy over 2 weeks ago because I wasn’t aware it was set to auto-renew. I was told I’d receive my refund no later than Tuesday — but when I called to check, they said it hasn’t even been processed yet. Now I’m being told it could take 15 to 30 days, and no one can give me a clear answer. The worst part is that the agent keeps saying they don’t have access to refund info and to call National General, but when I call National General, they direct me right back to the agent. It’s just a constant loop with no accountability. This has been a huge inconvenience, and it’s frustrating that no one can provide a simple, exact refund timeline. Definitely not the kind of customer service I expected. I will be disputing the charge and filing a complaint against this company.

If i can give 0 stars i would of !!!!! I got hit by an individual that has this Insurance, Courtney Oregon was my case adjuster.She gave me $403 to replace my both daughters carseats! This insurance is totally a scam!!! My 10 month old at the time of accident was using a brand new Doona Infant Car Seat Sahara Sand + latch base serial number DU240101 4681 was worth to me $650 before taxes. My 5 year old at the time of accident was using a brand new graco childrens product model number 2186329 worth $74 . I bought this carseat for my daughters to safe and they want me to buy trash !! How is that possible. Dont waste your time with them they are really unprofessional! If one of your insured drivers was driven take responsibility of what they did and be fair dont just give out trash ! The only

Worst insurance company ever. I’ve been waiting for a refund for over 5 months and every time I speak to an agent they tell me something different. There is zero accountability in this company and a lot of dishonesty.

Avoid This Insurance Company at All Costs Do not use The General for insurance. Their rates are astronomically high, and their customer service is extremely poor. I canceled my policy, yet they still charged me the full amount. When I called, I was told the refund would take 10–15 days to process which is completely unacceptable. Because of their negligence, my bank account is now in the negative. To make matters worse, I had to request to speak with a supervisor, and even that takes up to 72 hours for a response. If you’re shopping around for insurance, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far more affordable companies with much better service.

This is a rip-off insurance company!!! Please do not waste your time or money on that company. They will not fix your vehicle. I was in a hit-and-run accident and I filed a claim with them. The adjuster (Devin Odom) had the nerve to tell me my vehicle could not be fixed. He said it was a toll lost. Therefore he transformed me with the toll loss department. I spoke with a representative named Eric Terry. He said the same thing. My vehicle was not a toll-loss. It just needed a new door and painted. I have been with that insurance company since June 2023. However, I paid my insurance on time and was not late. Just for them to rip me off. I no longer have that insurance company anymore. Hopefully, with this new insurance company, that I have now. I pray I don't get ripped off.
