Do you know the feeling returning home and watching water drip from your ceiling onto your kitchen table and then to your floors? No? I'm glad to hear that. It is a very emotional time and comes with a feeling of uselessness. Enter Narragansett Bay Insurance Company claims response technician Mladen. He was a professional, calming and patient presence upon his arrival. Mladen was what we needed to help navigate the situation and stop the spread of water to other rooms while hopefully minimizing damage. He explained everything thoroughly and thoughtfully with his calm demeanor. When he left our home he left us with a feeling of calm and confidence that everything would be okay with time. Fast forward a couple weeks and everything is dried out as expected and the migration of the water

Terrible insurance company. Definitely would not ever use or refer anyone to use ever again. Recently bought a home they were quick to take in our money. Then stated we never had an inspection which we did and had pictures but they must have thrown them on a pile not to look at. Then they found it and said our roof was too old even though we had two different people/contractors come look at the roof and said it would not have to replaced yet but within next five years. So in the middle of winter they decided to drop our insurance. Who does that? A company that has and will now receive terrible reviews. Don’t use this company it’s run like a candy store unless you want to get a sour taste in your mouth

the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with- 2 1/2 hour hail storm; they sent over an "engineer" from their team that applied "Bartenders" Cream" to window and door trims, said it all looked better and left. They actually ruined them and made them look worse! I sent them "AFTER" photos, and they said since the engineer said they fixed everything, they are standing by the engineer's word. My windows and doors and many other things are ruined. Do NOT use this company- your payments will get you nothing in return. They are a JOKE! Do not use Narragansett Bay or Heritage Insurance Companies

Do not do business with this company or their Florida based parent company (Heritage Insurance). They use delay tactics for claims, terrible communication, and never respond to written inquiries. I had to report them to the state of RI after 2 months of no communication regarding my claim. It's never fun when your home suffers damage and this company makes the experience significantly more stressful. You want an insurance company that is there for you during a time of need, this one will not be
