Monsura Lawal: Allstate Insurance

Terrible customer service and they have the worst communication ever! I cancelled a policy in August, and Monsura L didn’t cancel my policy. Which led to me still dealing with them as of today, they sent a balance to collections, yet never told me I had one. So of course I had to pay it, so that I can finally get this lingering process over with. She asked me would I consider coming back. I absolutely will NOT, I have never in my life had this many issues canceling an insurance policy.

terrible customer service. when you go to cancel (and you will, it is very overpriced) you need to triplecheck your policy is canceled and be prepared to contest collections.

Customer Service is the worst. I have yet been able to contact my agent. Ive called, left messages and sent emails. Ive had zero accidents in 10 years and my 6 mo premium increased 400.00. With no explanation. Ive been calling and emailing for weeks. Im going back to Geico.

The office is obviously unorganized. I have received phone calls from employees questioning me about services that i pay for monthly but they claim they have no record of. I pay my insurance every month, yes sometimes it is late but i pay it. I receive threatening letters and or phone monthly about my policies. My plan is to leave as soon as i find a better fit. The staff is very unprofessional. They don’t explain anything to you but expect you to know everything. They are eager to cancel your policies so beware. The office change management like the weather. Terrible, 2 thumbs down🤷🏽‍♀️

I have been with Allstate for almost 47 years. I have been a University/College Professor in the Business and Mathematics Departments for almost the same number of years. Last week I met Angelo Wheeler from this Allstate Agency. It was a great experience. I had three questions about my policy. Angelo went through each question with me explaining requirements and options. Explanations led to additional questions on my part. We discussed a total house renovation that I had done. Angelo did not rush me and indicated he would get back to me this week. He did (on Monday). I feel like I have a new contact person at the Agency Level at Allstate. Thank you Angelo!
