I used to go through McBee but somehow despite the fact we have only gotten older and have had ZERO claims they are double the price of anywhere else including Progressive, Liberty, Geico, etc. I asked why and was only told that was the rates given although I don't really feel like the employees are TRULY looking for the best price they seem to just throw out whatever comes first. Maybe for less work involved so they can rush? Either way they quoted me around $258 for my 2 vehicles while Progressive gave me a rate of $158. That is a $100 savings! Plus Progressive was less to get started. I stated this and all the woman said was: "Well sorry but that's our quote here". Okay then. They are just not the friendliest of people. Everytime I go there...I'm left feeling as tho they think I'm trying to rob them. We've never even had a late payment. Ever. We started looking for other providers immediately after I left there yesterday. The are just an awful miserable pair. We were stuck with them 5 years ago...but that has changed.

Got a quote over the phone with all correct information for a car insurance policy. They told me the down payments can only be made by money order, which is odd. Upon arriving with the vehicle and documents to get the policy started, I was declined coverage because their background check showed TWO incidents instead of one on my driving record. I assured them I could pull up documentation online, or reach out to my lawyer for verification. They told me all their companies use this check and there was nothing they could do except offer me a more expensive plan, and that’s IF they decided to accept me. This is one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever seen. My fiancé walked in after being referred from RedBud, and a woman from the back office started yelling, stating; I don’t know why they keep on sending those people. How about next time you represent your business with manners and professionalism. Wouldn’t recommend!
