Dishonest or Incompetent. Our small HOA trusted Kupiec Insurance Group with our insurance needs for over a DECADE. Over the past few years the insurance premiums had gone up noticeably every year. At first we were told it was because we had made a claim (what good is insurance if you can't make a claim?), then we were told it was because of the lack of other viable options and lastly we were told it was because the insurance companies were losing money. All of this was offered with no alternatives and a list of excuses as to why other insurance companies wouldn't insure us. This involved the tripling of our insurance premiums over a 4 years period, all while they were undoubtedly making higher and higher commissions each year. Worked on my behalf until the day i decided to switch brokers. No effort into shopping around to address my concerns. Offered no option to review current policy and make adjustments. Became unprofessional when i didnt disclose the company i was getting a new homeowners insurance policy from. There is a certain duty to provide professionalism even when things arent going your way and he failed miserably. Good riddens!
