While sitting quietly in my car waiting for my husband to finish an appointment next door at the Austin Eye Institute, Karen Easterling abruptly exited her vehicle and aggressively confronted me for simply being parked there. The parking lot was practically empty, and it was a holiday, making the confrontation even more unnecessary and unreasonable. This behavior showed a clear lack of basic human decency, emotional restraint, and situational awareness. Approaching a stranger in this manner over a harmless, everyday situation—especially under these circumstances—is alarming and reflects extremely poor judgment.
