Very, very, high cost compared to insurance from other underwriters. Business product liability insurance from May 2019 to May 2020 resulted in the broker and-or underwriter incorrectly classifying my personal private home as a manufacturing facility resulting in inspection by an independent contractor and issuance of an actual letter requiring certain fire extinguisher configuration without citing specific fire code to be met. The broker or underwriter did not issue letter of cancellation specifying citation for requirement nor basis for cancellation. Upon my challenging this ludicrous requirement, underwriter sent email cancelling fire extinguisher requirement to Hackney versus proper letter of cancellation to business owner.
