To be clear, this isn’t about the local agents. They’ve been fine, but the corporate side of the house is a complete disaster. Back in October, my brand-new car was rear-ended here in Virginia by a GEICO-insured driver. Even though the damage was under $15k and the car is worth nearly $30k, GEICO tried to total it because it hit their $25k policy limit.
