Don’t go with these guys. They never pick up the phone, and send snarky texts if you call them out on not picking up the phone. Switched to a different broker, and the new guys saved me money every month on my home and auto because the new guys ACTUALLY shopped rates for me.

NEVER EVER work with them. Need a policy updated? They won't answer the phone. Need to cancel a policy? They also won't answer the phone. So then you try to cancel on your own but get told you have to cancel through the broker. Well you can't do that when they won't answer the phone. So then you send a text and they say it's canceled, but guess what? They let it renew and billed you anyways. But since you turned off auto pay on your own as a last resort you figured they wouldn't be able to bill you. WRONG. They'll bill you but then let it get sent to collections because they were irresponsible and wouldn't pick up the phone and cancel for you in a timely manner.

I feel like my plan should've been explained better when I first signed up and it wasn't until 1.5 years in that I ended up calling in to have someone explain what I was paying for. Huge shoutout to Dane Rose for being helpful in answering my questions and explaining how the contract works. I recommend working with IDEAL if they continue hiring people like Dane!

I've worked with many insurance brokers, but this is by far the strangest one I've had to deal with. Most insurance brokers are making their money by bringing your policy to an insurance company. Ideal Solutions also charges you a separate broker fee. I'm guessing they are also getting paid from the insurance company as well. As I said, I've never seen any other broker charge a separate fee. We recently canceled the insurance policy, directly through the insurance carrier. We attempted to contact our agent at Ideal Solutions, but the number had been disconnected. We didn't think much of it, figuring the policy had been canceled so there wouldn't be anything more to be done. This month, we got the charge for the broker fee.
