My company has been a customer of Hotchkiss for 15+ years and I can say I am glad to be moving away from this agency. Do not expect your Hotchkiss agent or claims advocate to fight for you. Hotchkiss is only about collecting your premium and letting you fight against the claims adjuster yourself. I was told nothing gets approved anymore and to just hire an attorney if I didn't like it. I've left over 15 messages for Kathy H. to call me back and she continues to avoid taking my calls and does not return any calls.
Having an extremely difficult time with this company so I'm coming here in hopes to salvage any future relationship. Hotchkiss doesn't t send out your policy, which is fine so you need to log-in online to access it. After registering and receiving a log-in/pw it doesn't work, spoke to the agent weeks ago and she still hasn't been able to fix it. Last month I moved into a larger facility as my company is growing and I still haven't got an updated quote to ensure I'm covered at our new address. However, I'm still paying the insurance coverage which is essentially void f something were to happen at our new address. For months I've been hounding this company to get me an updated policy so I can send it to my bank which they require and now, I can't get anybody to get back to me with an update
On 2/25/22 Johnny informed me their client didn't feel at fault for the accident, maybe that's why I never heard anything back regarding my claim. I was told an adjuster would reach out, still waiting to hear back from them too. Its 4/5/22 maybe someone from Hotchkiss will reach out to me soon.
Irresponsible, horrible customer service. I have a huge problem with this place. They renewed my policy with the wrong amount of coverage now I have to file a lawsuit against them and against their insurance for the mistake they made
