Hastings Insurance

You guys are literally the worst insurance company ever. My business was lost to a large structure fire on December 10, 2024 and Hastings hasn’t even started the claim. I’ve had to rebuild my company from scratch on my own and work tirelessly to salvage any chance I have at success. The only things you guys have done well in the last 12 months is summarized next: -Repeated document requests - even after ive submitted everything multiple times -Prolonged investigations - including rescheduling important events the day before and pushing back 30 days at a time. -Requiring Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), which was used as delay tool and still somehow getting the information wrong. -Unclear communication - vague or contradictory updates that stall your decision-making. Do not ever use this company. Took over 5 months to get my car back after a crash, actual repairs only took 2 weeks. Only time I ever got any updates was when I contacted them. My car still has issues from the crash, which they refuse to fix because they do not see the damage as a result of the crash. After the denial they wouldn’t even help with the diagnostic fee for the new quote either after taking so long with the vehicle. When I finally got to talk to a supervisor she was rude as hell cutting me off, talking over me and talking to me like I’m a child and an idiot.

Don't walk, run, from this company!! I have been insured with them for over a year now. Our rates doubled with no explanation, then I had an incident with a deer and it took over a month to get my car repaired and numerous phone calls to Hastings with the majority of my messages not returned. Then, my auto withdrawal for January increased about $150 again!! No, reason for it. No tickets, no accidents. Their premiums are also ridiculous! We will be calling around and getting a need insurance provider for our 9 vehicles! Worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with.

Rates are great had to make a claim for Hail Damage to my truck. Claim process start to finish was a breeze. Amanda,Ken and Tim are upstanding very polite people. Thanks so much for all your help!!!

I just got a bill for six dollars. I cancelled my insurance well before the next bill was due. I called my agent. Emailed him as well. I spoke to an agent at his office to confirm cancellation. Signed and dated paperwork. I emailed Hastings too. Now a junk fee? I’ll be working with your competitor from now on.
