Unfair, Deceptive Practices — Stay Far Away” I am a second-generation customer with this company, and we’ve had an electrical policy with them for over 15 years—always on auto-pay. Out of nowhere, I receive a bill in the mail claiming I “missed” a $25 payment, and because of that tiny amount, they demanded $600 or threatened to cancel my policy for “nonpayment.” This is unbelievably predatory and absolutely qualifies as unfair and deceptive business practices. After decades of loyalty, this is how they treat customers? What’s even more embarrassing for them is that I went on ChatGPT and found a better policy at a better price in under one minute.
