Goodville Mutual Casualty Company

I am a Goodville customer for 10+ years now. Great company to work with. I've had claims and have always been prossed in a timely manner. Highly recommended!

Horrible experience. One of our cars was struck by someone insured by them. Communication and customer service was very disappointing. We had to initiate everything. Would not return calls or emails. We even requested a supervisor....well that was worse. She never called us back after several attempts. The person that struck our car who was insured by them was great. I hope he parts ways with them.

This is a very poorly run insurance company, do not use them. I was a loyal customer of Goodville for a decade, I never missed a payment, no speeding tickets, no issues. I had my homeowners insurance and both my cars insured through them. In late August of 2025 I switched banks and my EFT payment (that I set up through their website) did not go through, I received a letter in the mail stating they were cancelling my insurance due to non payment ($185), I called them and gave them my account information over the phone, the payment was processed and my account was re-instated. I received a receipt of payment, and my new insurance cards in the mail. On 9/25 my insurance agency calls to tell me Goodville Mutual has cancelled my policy due to non-payment, apparently my car insurance was

Our car was damaged and the party responsible carried Goodville Insurance. We were not provided the rental car we were to have. Our car work is complete and we still do not have a check. The agent we were assigned to was slow to respond and was seemingly incompetent in his job. He supposedly transferred funds to our bank and blamed lack of funds on our bank. At this point, I have no confidence in this company's ability to perform their duties. Run, don't walk from this company.

This company takes 0 accountability, I had an accident 4 months ago with a person that is insured by this company, every time I call they say that, there going to transfer me to the woman in charge of my claim, and every time It goes to voicemail. They say that they can’t do nothing till the other person gives their version in which I had no problem at first but it’s been 4 months and I also have a life and need to pay rent and I can’t do that without having my car to take me places, if this is not resolved I will be taking legal actions because this is unacceptable, I would understand if they only did that to me but from other reviews I have read it looks like they take no accountability and is one of the worst insurance companies.
