This has been my only insurance company since I got my license. 27 years! They have always been there for me and im very pleased with the service of this business. They will continue to be my insurance company for as long as they exist! Trust and believe...you can't go wrong here.

The agent told me to “go somewhere else” They don’t need my business! 🤫 Very unprofessional and rude. My policy ends in January,, i’ll be excited to find a place that can be helpful!

I was recently in an awful car crash! Head injuries, among other things. Two months out from this car crash and still very emotional. I called to check on making a claim. I was treated with nothing less than the uppermost respect and complete understanding for my emotional state. I have been with this very company for 20 years. And will continue for the rest of my insurance needs here on out. The customer service is outstanding! I haven't lived in Haywood county for 8 years, I now reside in Franklin NC. Yet i have and will always remain with the office in Waynesville, NC. I have made a considerable amount of driving offences. And this office no matter whom you speak too,they remain understanding and professional. I Highly recommend this company to everyone I know.

General Insurance has been my insurance company for the last 8-9 years. Always took care of me, and their rates are good! Love talking to a local agent in person, instead of a different country!

I felt as I was being a bother when I called and when I asked for a quote to be revised to cover other circumstances, I never got a return call. I won't post who's company I used but it was not General. I didn't want to bother them further. I'm sure they are fine as company's go but I felt if I was being a bother now, I couldn't imagine how much of a pain I might be to them later if I had questions or a problem.
