Absolutely recommend!! I like many, never gave much thought to insurance other than it's a legal requirement to have to own and drive a vehicle. But after doing business here for more than 5 years I can tell you that not only is insurance a service, having agents that take personal care and consideration of your situation, has made all the difference in the world. Through the good times and bad, and periods of financial hardship. They have helped and worked with me and even directed me to resources to assist that I had never dreamed even existed. I would just like to extend a personal thank you to the people that work here, and especially to my insurance agent keri fields. Thank you!!

I highly recommend Galen Shields for all of your insurance needs! We moved to McPherson in July from the East Coast and everyone in the office is super personable and knowledgable. It was a breeze cancelling my old policies and setting up the new ones (home, auto, business). Keri took care of everything for me and provided me with detailed information. When I wasn't sure about signing up for the safe drive beacons, she took plenty of time to explain how they worked -without any pressure to choose them (which in the end, we did!). On the East Coast my insurance office didn't even know who I was after 10 years with them. Here, I felt like a member of the family after my first visit!

Highly recommend Galen Shields Agency! When I initially switched four months ago, Keri took care of everything for me over email and made the transition a breeze! Darla is great to work with as well! Any questions are answered promptly, and you never feel like a bother. My parents and sister and brother-in-law also switched their business to Galen's office.

The staff was efficient and personable and the rates were much more attractive than Travelers. I hope if I have a claim the reviews on Facebook do not prove out to be true. When I shared my experience with Travelers and switching to State Farm I was bombarded with comments like "You'll be sorry" and "It's the old Bait and Switch" They will jump your Premiums in excess next year. I also heard of lengthy delays in respect to settling claims. Like I said, I hope they don't become true. Facebook wasn;t flattering to you.
